Homeless dogs and cats do not ask to be born. Once alive, faithful companion pets, man’s best friends, deserve to live their natural lives through. Millions of unwanted, homeless dogs and cats are doomed to die in shelters across our nation each year if they are not adopted within approximately five days or less. Homeless, un-adopted companion pets need our mercy. More kind, loving adoptive homes are needed. You can help! Every life is precious. Saving just one life makes a difference!

SAVE A PET STATE AND NATIONAL GOALS:

STERILIZATION – to control and reduce pet overpopulation.

The National Save A Pet Foundation Inc. and Save A Pet Florida, Inc. strongly support animal laws to prevent animal abuse, cruelty and predetermined death for millions of man’s best friends. They advocate more federal and state involvement, including national and state subsidy and rebate programs, to provide free spay and neuter services to pet owners in proven dire circumstances and low-cost spay and neuter services to other pet owners as a humane solution to pet overpopulation. Nation-wide, state by state and county by county, subsidy and rebate programs would require legislation, education, participation and cooperation from veterinarians and pet owners. By preventing unwanted births and reducing the pet population by sterilization, taxpayers could save millions of tax dollars by eliminating the need of more and larger shelters.

EDUCATION - is encouraged in public and private school systems. Save A Pet helps to educate the public as to how they can assist in protecting and caring for wanted and unwanted pets. We encourage responsible adoptions and educate the public to spay and neuter pets as a logical and humane solution to pet overpopulation problems.

LEGISLATION - Federal and State Legislators are encouraged to enact laws beneficial for animal welfare, protecting and helping animal suffering and cruelty. Legislation is strongly supported to prevent the extinction of endangered species and to protect their ever-threatened environments.

THE NATIONAL SAVE A PET FOUNDATION, INC. AND SAVE A PET FLORIDA, INC. NEED YOUR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP ACHIEVE THESE GOALS.
